Q: Sounds like you guys are doing the same exact thing we are doing. We are graveling 3 miles of road every year. Thankfully we don’t have any really big hills. So if we have any problems pulling it I’ll do those roads with the grader. We ordered our planner with the stinger teeth. I’ll keep a eye on your tractor and bring it up at our meeting Tuesday day night. If the other 2 supervisors agree I’ll place a bid.
A: Thanks, tractor is really a good tractor. Also the tractor Doesn’t require def! Wish our new one was like that!
Q: Really what kind of a road drag did you buy? We just ordered a new Bonnell 312 Road Maintainer are we are planning on pulling it with our 2 wheel drive 5455 Massey Furguson.
A: That is the same drag we have. We had to replace the straight blade on the front with stinger tip blade to cut better. We are adding gravel to our roads and with the big hills in our twp and with 2 wheel drive you have to raise the drag up to make the hill. Plenty of power , not enough traction.
Q: Hi my name is William Sutter I’m a supervisor in Venango township Crawford county. Why are you selling this tractor and is there any issues with it. Like oil or hydraulic leaks?
A: Tractor and mower are both great. We purchased a road drag due to myself being the only one who knows how to run our grader. The part time employees can pull the drag with the tractor. Problem is with a full load on the drag the 2 wheel drive doesn’t have enough traction on hills. We purchased a 4 wheel drive this week and don’t need both.
