Q: Is the oil pan, fully saturated oil and leaking? Is there any oil on the pan or is it leaking? Thanks.
A: Yes the oil pan does leak. You can see in one of the photos the oil on the front crossmember.
Q: Can it not get inspection because the cab corners and rocker panels need to be done? Or does the truck need a full cab?
A: It will not pass the state of New Hampshire State inspection because of the rust. Please refer back to the same question you asked earlier about repair VS replace.
Q: How are the brakes does it need new pads and rotors? Because of the rust. All around the wheels?
A: No idea.
Q: Is the Cp4 pump Original has it ever been touched? How are the injectors?
A: Pump and injectors are original as far as we know.
Q: Is the cab mounts completely shot? Would you say that the truck needs a whole new cab?
A: No it can be repaired if you are into rust repair.
Q: So you said the subframe is rotted does that mean that the back of the frame is completely rotted also? Because the subframe is rot thanks
A: The frame on the truck is fine. The frame on the dump body is what is rusted. I took a photo of the rear hinge area to show the condition.
Q: Why is such a new truck this rusted and beet up what did this truck do most of its life ? Thanks
A: It was used to plow, sand and salt some of smaller roads. Salt takes a toll on sheet metal.
Q: Is the dump bed truck is the rot to bad to save can’t tell from pictures thanks
A: The body has a lot of rust. Mostly the subframe under the body. This body was setup to salt and sand. Salt and sand take a toll on the bodies. It would take a lot of welding to fix it.
Q: Is the emissions systems completely clogged up or does the truck go into limp mode ?
A: The emission is fine as far as we know. I spoke to the department head and they used the truck the other day while one of the other trucks was in the shop for repairs.
