Up for auction is a 2007 Chevrolet Impala LT 4 door with 104,198 miles. This was bought new by the city police department for a detectives vehicle and then was used in the inspections department, at city hall. During the use of this vehicle it was always maintained and had scheduled oil changes. It has been sitting for a while but did run when parked but had some mechanical problems and transmission issues. It had the 3500 v6 with an Automatic transmission. The battery is dead and I could not try to start it. Overall it is in good shape, body and interior. Passenger rear window does not work and needs a new electric motor. The tires are fair but just need aired up from sitting. Currently the car is located at city hall and can be seen there, but a more in depth inspection would need an appointment. This will have to be towed or trailered without knowledge of mechanical problems.
The City of Mattoon does NOT offer any warranty and this is an as is all sales final auction. Cash due upon arrival of picking up item. With appointment the item can be seen before auction end. Please feel free to ask questions and we will answer as best and quickly as possible. Item must be picked up within a week of auction end and no shipping.
