The Town of Franklin, MA is selling a used 2012 Toro Groundsmaster 4100-D Lawnmower. The bid will run from 04/28/2026 until 05/19/2026 at 4:00 PM.
The mower features a Kubota Diesel engine and has been operated for 2,514 hours. It was removed from service in the fall of 2024 due to age and usage. With a cutting edge of 10.3 feet, this mower is fully functional for both running and mowing. It has been utilized by the Town's Parks Department for the routine maintenance of parks and fields. The winning bidder will be required to sign a non-collusion statement (per MGL c.30B) and a bill of sale. Payments must be made to the Town of Franklin in the form of cash, cashier's check, bank check, or money order. Please be aware that personal checks, business checks, and credit cards are not accepted. The lawnmower cannot be shipped and must be picked up in person. Bidding is conducted on the Municibid website (www.municibid.com) and not directly with the Town.
