Payment must be in the form of a certified check or money order, made payable to City of Port Allen. No other form of payment will be accepted. For all titled vehicles/trailers, sales tax will be applied at time of title transfer and paid directly to the title transfer agent you provide at pick up date. All titled vehicles and equipment will require the purchaser or an authorized agent to be present for the appropriate title transfer paperwork to be completed. If you are tax exempt, please provide your tax exempt certificate to the title transfer agent at time of transfer.
