Q: Hi. Is any issues with the engine or transmission? Is any leaks? Is the truck ready to ride anywhere? Thank you
A: I describe the items we sell to the best of my ability. If there are problems, I detail them. Engine and trans work as they should. As for ride anywhere, this is a 14-year-old truck. I wouldn't hesitate to put it out on its snow route again, but drive it to Ohio or somewhere, I can't say. This truck has 55,614 miles on it and I'll bet 95% of them were within our municipal boundaries.
Q: Can you take a picture of inside the salt spreader and where you straightened it?
A: I will post pictures tomorrow. The auger was not bent, just the pan underneath and we straightened it our pretty well, so I doubt you will see much on the pictures. I will also do a short video of the spreader working. I am having an issue uploading the video and will be working with Municibid to get the video posted. Meanwhile I posted a photo of the small dent that remains. The auger was never damaged and is arrow straight, just the pan underneath and if I didn't tell you about it, you would never notice. I just like to be as transparent as I can with the description.
