Sold As Is: The vehicle will crank but will not start due to the timing chain and water pump both needing replacement. Important maintenance required: timing chain and water pump must be replaced for proper operation. Additionally, the tires are relatively new, having less than 5,000 miles on them, offering good remaining tread life.

Q: 4 wheel drive or All wheel drive? Also, please note, that the advertisement of this vehicle if accurate, the unit will need a new engine! Those vehicles have what’s known as an interference engine, if it jumps timing, there will be internal engine damage requiring replacement! There isn’t fixing that condition (reasonably) without just replacing the entire engine.
A: The vehicle is 4 wheel drive. In reference to the issue in the description, the engine went into no start mode. We noted it needs new timing chains, a water pump, etc. When this happens the engine safety feature stops the engine, preventing further damage to the motor.
