“Why any kid would wanna be an orphan is beyond me” ...Except in this case, replace "orphans" with 35 feet of stubborn, unmoving diesel steel. This 2013 Gillig low-floor bus ran the grueling daily gauntlet through the Poconos until its spirit (and powertrain) completely gave out. It is big, it is loud only when being dragged by a tow truck, and it is holding a permanent grudge against moving. Perfect for a massive scrap payload or a wildly ambitious stationary conversion project.
Note: Does it roll under its own power? Absolutely not. It’s 35 feet of pure, unadulterated "not my job anymore."
La "Señorita Hannigan"
“Por qué algún niño querría ser huérfano está más allá de mi comprensión” ...Excepto que en este caso, reemplaza "huérfanos" con 35 pies de acero diésel terco e inmóvil. Este autobús Gillig de piso bajo de 2013 corrió la agotadora prueba diaria a través de las Montañas Pocono hasta que su espíritu (y su tren motriz) se rindieron por completo.
