The Town of Sheffield is selling a 1998 International Navistar 4800/Pierce pumper. Details of the truck are as follows: 4-WD, Automatic transmission, 1,000 gal/min pump and a 500 gallon water tank.
The Town purchased new in 1998. Truck has 14,615 miles and 1,965 hours.
There is corrosion on the International Chassis and frame rail attachments. The truck has failed the pump test.
Sold as is. Sold where is. The Town reserves the right to reject any and all bids. The buyer shall arrange (by calling the Selectmen's Office 413-229-7000) and complete pick up of the equipment within 15 days of the notification by the owner that the truck is ready for pick up.
This vehicle has distinctive markings that shall be removed within 30 calendar days of pick up.
Payment in full is sue to the Town of Sheffield within 15 business days from the close of auction. Payment should be made with a certified check, cashier's check or money order. No cash or personal checks accepted.
