For sale is an 2005 Sterling L8500. The truck has an aluminum J&J Bed. The motor in the truck was replaced with a brand new CAT 3126, 7.2 Liter diesel engine at 114,353 miles in August of 2015. The truck currently has 116,867 miles with 2,500 miles on the new engine. The instrument cluster was replaced at 80,353 miles and the odometer currently reads 36,514 miles for the total of 116,867. The truck has a GVWR of 41,000 lbs. The truck comes with a tailgate spreader and spinner. The truck has power windows and door locks. The plow mount is 30 inches center to center. The frame rails have slight surface rust, please see the pictures of the frame rails and undercarriage. The electric over hydraulic spreader controls were replaced with manual hydraulic controls in 2020. The truck operates and runs as it should. It is inspected until August of 2023.
