We have sold numerous things on Municibid, from large equipment to very small equipment to things we didn’t really think people would want to buy. Municibid was able to reach an audience that allowed us to sell every item. The best thing that happened to us this year was the introduction of the Municibid app. It allows us to go out in the field with a cell phone or iPad and create and post the listing from there.

O'Fallon's story starts in 1856, when German immigrant Nicholas Krekel settled here and became the town's first resident and retailer. The community grew up around that early foothold in St. Charles County, part of the St. Louis metropolitan area, and by 1912 O'Fallon was ready to make it official, incorporating with about 600 residents calling it home.
Today, O'Fallon has grown to 95,355 residents, according to the Census, while holding onto its roots as a charter form of government. City business is carried out at the O'Fallon Municipal Centre, 100 North Main Street, where officials continue the work Krekel's small settlement began more than a century and a half ago.
