We have sold numerous things on Municibid, from large equipment to very small equipment, to things we didn’t really think people would want to buy. Municibid was able to reach an audience that allowed us to sell every item. The best thing that happened to us this year was the introduction of the Municibid app. It allows us to go out in the field with a cell phone or iPad and create and post the listing from there.

Glenwood Township sits in southeastern South Dakota, within Clay County, and has been home to farming families since 1872, when the August Soderstrom farm was among the earliest homesteaded properties in the area. That same rural, close-knit character has carried through to today, with the township's farmland and homesteaded properties still shaping daily life for its roughly 225 residents.
For 67 years, Glenwood School #50 served the township's children, operating from 1875 to 1942 and taking its name from the local Glenwood Post Office. Governed by a township board, Glenwood Township continues to reflect the steady, community-minded spirit of the families who first settled and worked this land.
