We have sold numerous things on Municibid, from large equipment to very small equipment, to things we didn’t really think people would want to buy. Municibid was able to reach an audience that allowed us to sell every item. The best thing that happened to us this year was the introduction of the Municibid app. It allows us to go out in the field with a cell phone or iPad and create and post the listing from there.

Miller Township sits in Hand County, South Dakota, one of the county's organized townships since surveyors opened the land for filing in the summer of 1881. Like many townships of the era, it took shape during a period when settlers and county leaders were still sorting out where local authority would sit, and historical accounts place Miller Township among the parties in the county-seat contest that followed. Today it's home to 193 residents, per the Census, and is governed by a township board.
Worth noting for newcomers: Miller Township is not the same place as the city of Miller, which serves as the county seat of Hand County. The two share a name but are separate jurisdictions. Hand County's government includes Miller Township's legal notices among its official township postings, keeping residents connected to the broader workings of county government.
