Retired patrol vehicles, radios, and equipment can fund what Turton needs next. Municibid turns department surplus into revenue, with no fees to you.
Departments list what they retire and Municibid's bidders take it from there: no hauling, no dealer trade-ins, and the department keeps every dollar of the winning bid.

We have sold numerous things on Municibid, from large equipment to very small equipment, to things we didn’t really think people would want to buy. Municibid was able to reach an audience that allowed us to sell every item. The best thing that happened to us this year was the introduction of the Municibid app. It allows us to go out in the field with a cell phone or iPad and create and post the listing from there.

Turton, South Dakota, got its start in 1886 and was formally incorporated in 1907. The town, home to 52 residents according to the Census, sits in Spink County and takes its name from Joseph Turton, one of its first settlers, who came from England. Like many small towns across the county, Turton has kept its own town government to look after local matters.
Community life here has long centered around a few steady touchstones. St. Joseph Catholic Church remains a familiar landmark, and folks still look forward to the annual Frogtown Festival. Turton High School once anchored the town's education, operating from 1915 to 1956, a chapter of local history residents still remember fondly.
