Can we reject the final bid?

How selling agencies reject a final bid with Void and Relist on Successful listings.

1 min readUpdated November 7, 2026Team Municibid

Yes. Selling agencies can reject the final bid after a sale closes.

How to reject the final bid

Sign in to your Municibid account.

Click My Municibid, then click Successful.

Find the listing under Successful listings.

Click Void and Relist on the item.

Choose We Rejected Bid.

Confirm by clicking Void and relist.

What happens next?

  • The listing is saved as a draft so you can edit it and put it back up.

  • Municibid notifies the bidder that the bid was rejected.

  • The buyer’s fee is refunded, and the buyer’s invoice is withdrawn.

If the problem is a bidder who will not pay or collect, report the bidder instead of voiding the sale.

What happens right after you confirm

You land on the edit page of the new draft, which is the copy of your listing. The sale stops counting and its invoice is withdrawn. Anything already paid stays as it is.
