Yes. How you relist depends on whether the auction was successful or unsuccessful.
If the auction was unsuccessful
On Unsuccessful (or unsuccessful items under Ended), you can:
Relist: puts the same listing back up under the same listing number. Prior bid history does not carry over. It runs for as long as it ran last time, starts again at the original price, and takes bids as soon as it is up. Use this when you want to try the same item again.
List Similar: creates a new draft copy of the listing so you can edit it and publish it as a new listing with a new listing number. Bid history does not carry over. Use this when you’re selling another similar item, or when you want to change details before posting again.
How to Relist an unsuccessful auction
Sign in to your Municibid account, click My Municibid, then click Active Listings.
In the list on the left, click Unsuccessful.
Find the listing and click Relist.
Confirm by clicking Relist it.
After it is live, you can open the listing and edit it if you need to make changes.
How to List Similar
Open the listing under Active, Scheduled, Successful, Unsuccessful, or Ended, or open the listing page itself.
Click List Similar.
Edit the new draft if needed, then publish it as a new listing.
Relisting several at once
On Unsuccessful, tick the box beside each listing, then click Relist Selected above the list. A window asks you to confirm. Each one reopens under its own number, runs for as long as it ran last time, and starts again at its original price.
If the auction was successful
On Successful listings, use:
List Similar: creates a new draft copy for a new listing.
Void and Relist: cancels the sale, withdraws the buyer’s invoice, and saves a copy to your drafts so you can put it back up. Use this when you need to cancel a completed sale (for example, an unpaid invoice or a rejected bid).
Void and Relist asks you to choose a reason first. If a bidder will not pay or collect, you can report the bidder instead of voiding the sale.
For rejecting the final bid with Void and Relist, see Can we reject the final bid?.
Note on auction length
Standard auction lengths are usually 7 to 14 days. If Municibid confirms a technical issue that affected bidding, sellers may choose a shorter relist, such as 48 hours.
